- Vinayaka Missions Sikkim University is located in Gangtok, Sikkim. It was established in the year 2008 under an act ( No. 11 of 2008 ) of State Assembly passed by Government of Sikkim and was subsequently notified by the Govt. of Sikkim gazette.
- The University is approved by UGC and offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and doctoral courses in the fields of Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences, Medical, Dental, Paramedical, Engineering, Management and Architecture.
